Discovering theTerroir

The terroir is a limited geographical space where a human community built in the course of history, a collective of intellectual knowledge production, based on a system of `interactions between physical and biological environment and a series of human factors, within which the socio-technical itineraries put in the game reveal an originality, uniqueness and give a reputation to generate a product from this terroir.

Piemonte, the territory between the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero born where my “Vinery Experience”. The wines come from grapes coming from about 12 hectares of vineyards located in the territory of La Morra, Treiso, Castagnito, Canale, Corneliano e Santo Stefano Belbo.

Canale

  • The soil is of ancient origin, characterized by the 'Rocche' type sandy, friable, ocher. The marls astiane - the middle Pliocene period - that characterize the middle and upper slopes of this area provide an excellent environment for the production of wines austere, but a particularly refined and elegant with floral and fruity notes.

  • Sandy, calcareous – Clayet. The soil is of very ancient origin, characterized by the “Rocche” (Sandy and friable). They constitute an excellent environment for the production of wines austere, but of particular finesse and elegance with floral and fruity notes.
